The CHE Accelerated In-Person Pathway offers an innovative, condensed route to achieving the Certified Health Executive (CHE) designation. This cohort-based model integrates the full CHE learning experience within the CCHL’s two premier national conferences (CCHL National Conference and the Canada West Health Leaders Conference (CWHLC*)), creating a dynamic and immersive professional development journey.

Over the span of eight months, participants move through a structured learning sequence that combines formal LEADS-based education, real-world leadership application, peer collaboration, and evaluator mentorship. This pathway maintains the same academic rigour and LEADS Learning equivalency as the traditional CHE Program, just delivered in a more focused, high-engagement format.

• March 2026: Cohort Launch (LEADS 360 Assessment and pre-conference reading)
• June 14-16, 2026: CCHL National Conference 2026 in Montréal, QC (Intensive in-person learning sessions and networking)
• June-October 2026: Between Conferences (LEADS in Action Project and peer group engagement)
• October 20-21, 2026: CWHLC 2026* in Calgary, AB (Project presentations, reflection, and Self-Evaluation)
• June 20-22, 2027: CCHL National Conference 2027 in Niagara Falls, ON (Convocation and CHE recognition ceremony) (Optional**)

* For future cohorts of the CHE Accelerated In-Person Pathway, the October program components could be delivered at an alternate in-person conference or event.

Cost

Fees include CCHL National Conference and CWHLC registration, facilitator costs, LEADS materials, and administrative support. Travel and incidental expenses are additional. Pricing subject to change.

** Upon registration in the CHE Accelerated In-Person Pathway, participants will have the exclusive option to secure their registration for the 2027 CCHL National Conference at the discounted price of $750 (savings of 25% off the early bird member price).
