Seton Villa is a non-profit, supportive housing project designed specifically for low income seniors (65+) who wish to live as independently as possible in their own apartment. Seton Villa is one of the few housing projects that offers supportive housing and assisted living for seniors with modest incomes. Over 50 staff provide support to 190 supportive housing, 28 assisted living, and 7 independent living suites.
The Executive Director reports to the Board of Directors of Action Line Housing Society and Seton Villa Society and is responsible for the efficient and effective operation and management of Seton Villa consistent with the organization’s vision to provide “Healthy and Affordable Community Living for Seniors” and values of “Respect, Trust, Safety, Quality, Caring and Sustainability”. The Executive Director leads all aspects of the operation, ensuring that the strategic objectives as developed by the Board, and operational plans of the organization, are carried out to provide compassionate, effective and efficient delivery of services.
As the ideal candidate, you bring ten years’ related experience in a senior executive position in health care management, preferably in the long term care field dealing with seniors and will bring knowledge of publicly funded housing. Through this work, you bring knowledge and understanding of seniors’ unique needs and changing requirements as they age. An energetic, strategic, and financially adept leader, you are dedicated to quality of care and have the proven abilities to build positive relationships with the Board, residents, staff and myriad external stakeholders. Ideally, you have an RN or similar allied health professional designation.
