“This was the best session I ever attended ...  thank you” – November 28, 2018 event participant

Hello Difference Maker!

We’re Back! The GTA Chapter of the Canadian College of Health Leaders is excited to be hosting another dynamic and interactive session designed exclusively for Women Leaders. Our response to our first session exceeded our expectations and now we are pleased to offer our second Women in Healthcare Leadership networking session.

For those of you who have not heard about us – we are a group of women leaders who meet quarterly to listen, learn and grow. We’re more than just a networking forum – we are a group of lifelong learners who fully support the notion of ‘together we get better.’

So what happens at our meetings? We start with an experienced leader with a great story to tell – and from there we roll up our sleeves and get into a good discussion. And the discussion varies: ‘how can I take the next step’? ‘how can I find work/life balance’? ‘how do I know I’m doing the right thing’?

For our next event, we are thrilled to have Dr. Joy Richards, Vice-President, Patient Experience and Chief Health Professions at University Health Network in Toronto, as our keynote speaker. Dr. Richards will share insights from her own experiences – and her talk is aimed at fostering a discussion amongst participants about an individual’s role in leadership growth. We hope you can join us.
