Newly announced Ontario Health Teams promise to reorganize local services to better serve patients. Local leadership is needed to bring together acute care, home and community, and primary care partners into one connected team. Hospital networks have emerged as natural anchor organizations for integrated care models. Many have begun planning and publicly hope to become the first Ontario Health Teams, drawing on their history collaborating with local partners. But will they be ready to shoulder the risk of financial accountability in this uncertain future? How are they preparing themselves to hold the reigns, and the purse strings, to coordinate care?

Sarah Downey, President and CEO of Toronto East Health Network (Michael Garron Hospital) and Jennifer Bowman, Vice President of People and Transformation at Unity Health Toronto (St. Micheal's, St. Joseph's, and Providence Healthcare) will share their leadership perspectives on the role that hospital networks will play in the new Ontario landscape.

Join your CCHL GTA colleagues and celebrate their achievements during the AGM portion of the event.
