Featured Speakers: 

Dr. Silvana Spadafora Dr. Jonathan DellaVedova

Dr. Silvana Spadafora is a Medical Oncologist by training and is presently Chief of Staff at Sault Area Hospital. She is also an Assistant Professor for Northern Ontario School of Medicine and Regional Quality Lead for Systemic Therapy for the Northeast. Besides participating in Leadership training at NOSM and as part of her clinical Oncology work, she has also undertaken course work on line and in workshops during her 25 years of her practice. She encourages her students and colleagues and staff to pursue ongoing education, especially in the field of Leadership.

Dr. Jonathan DellaVedova is a Consulting Pediatrician in his hometown of Sault Ste. Marie where has has been practicing for 5 years. He is a charter class graduate of the Northern Ontario School of Medicine MD Program, and he completed his residency at the McMaster Children's Hospital in Hamilton. During his medical training Dr. DellaVedova served as the President of the Canadian Federation of Medical Students and the Professional Association of Residents of Ontario, as well as a Director on the Boards of the Canadian Medical Association and the Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada. Currently Dr. DellaVedova serves as the Site Director for pediatric education in Sault Ste. Marie and the Wellness Lead for residents at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine, a role for which he was nationally recognized.
