Overview and description of Ontario Hospital Association (OHA) COVID-19 dashboard (30 minutes):
  • Includes demo of dashboard (15 minutes):
  • Lessons learned and challenges (10 minutes)
  • General questions and feedback (5 minutes)

Open forum/generative discussion (30 minutes):
  • How are people using data for in their respective organization?
  • What data is missing?
  • From a data and analytics perspective, what are lesson’s learned for Ontario’s broader health system?
  • From a data and analytics perspective, what can OHA do to support hospitals/health system better?

Anthony Jonker

Anthony Jonker is the Ontario Hospital Association’s Chief, Data and Analytics, leading OHA’s emerging Data and Analytics strategy.  This includes collection, analysis and comparative reporting of discreet hospital data, with a goal to help OHA’s member hospitals improve operational performance and data-driven decision making. Areas of focus include: Cross- sector data integration; Health finance benchmarking and forecasting; Patient experience measurement; Workforce analytics, including benchmarking of HR metrics and salaries; and Digital health analytics and adoption.

Xiyuan(Siuwin) Wang
Xiyuan(Siuwin) Wang

Xiyuan(Siuwin) Wang is the Ontario Hospital Association’s Program Lead for Health Finance Analytics under the Data and Analytics (D&A) portfolio. Leading and implementing D&A tools development, training webinars, and backend data architecture. Siuwin is a CHE and currently serve as the Treasurer of the CCHL GTA Chapter.

Maintenance of Certification

Attendance at this program entitles certified Canadian College of Health Leaders members (CHE / Fellow) to 1.0 Category I credits toward their maintenance of certification requirement.
