First strategic alliance developed with a healthcare employer
SUDBURY, ON – The Canadian College of Health Leaders (the College) is pleased to announce that it recently established a strategic alliance with its first healthcare employer, the North East Community Care Access Centre (NE CCAC). Under this agreement the Certified Health Executive (CHE™) program, the only certification program for health leaders in Canada, has been recognized, by the NE CCAC as the preferred designation of choice for its health leaders.
“I am very pleased and honoured to have pioneered this initiative with the College, and I look forward to increasing the number of leaders who hold the CHE designation within our organization.” states Richard Joly, Chief Executive Officer of the NE CCAC, and chair of the College’s NEON Lights Chapter.
With this agreement, the CHE program is now being incorporated as part of the NE CCAC talent management program, the first cohort will begin in 2014.
