Kaitlyn Hebert
Kaitlyn is the Director of Privacy with INQ Consulting. As a Certified Information Privacy Professional, Kaitlyn brings an understanding of the Canadian industry and the underlying applicable laws that govern personal information management. Kaitlyn is an advisory board member to Artificial Intelligence Saskatchewan (AiSK) and speaks to various industries about the convergence of privacy, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence risks and how to adopt practices to help govern them.
She served as the Privacy Officer for a Canadian tech startup, where she built their privacy management program from the ground up. This role helped shaped her experience with provincial health privacy acts across Canada, including other country’s privacy laws, such as HIPAA (USA) and GDPR.
After nearly 20 years of experience in various health related fields, Kaitlyn brings diverse perspectives to her work. She can quickly learn her client’s needs, meet them where they are in their journey, and equip them to become more confident in their understanding and implementation of a successful privacy program.
Tom Douglass
Tom is the CEO of Lumeca Health, a Canadian digital health company transforming how patients access and providers deliver care through AI-enabled virtual care workflows. Under his leadership, Lumeca has deployed an innovative solution that combines AI-driven patient intake, and real-time documentation tools to improve physician efficiency by 23%.
With a background at the intersection of healthcare innovation and technology commercialization, Tom is passionate about leveraging AI to strengthen health system capacity, reduce emergency department overcrowding, and enhance continuity of care. He regularly collaborates with health authorities and industry partners to advance practical, human-centered applications of virtual care and AI in clinical practice.
