Ivan Ip, Vice President, Organization and System Transformation; Executive of Finch Centre and Hospice at the Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care.
Ivan Ip serves as Vice President, Organization and System Transformation, and the Executive of Finch Centre and Hospice at the Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care. Since joining Yee Hong in February 2017 as Director of Quality and Performance, Ivan progressed to Executive Director of the McNicoll Centre and later led the launch of a 10-bed Hospice Residence at the Finch Centre in November 2020.
He assumed his current role in May 2021 and oversees the Yee Hong Hospice and Finch Centre portfolios as of 2023. Ivan’s earlier experience includes leading Quality and Patient Safety at Hamilton Health Sciences and directing Critical Care in Kingston, Ontario. He has contributed to regional, provincial, and national healthcare initiatives, notably at the Health Council of Canada. Ivan is a Registered Nurse, holds degrees from Dalhousie and Queen’s University. He actively contributes to and collaborates with Ontario Health Teams in Scarborough, North York, and Mississauga.
