Annj Ridsdale-Wedell, CEO Alberta Association of Nurses
Current CEO of the Alberta Association of Nurses and an RN with experience in clinical practice, government, academia, regulation, and health system leadership. Annj has chaired national work on mental health and retention of the health workforce and recently completed the Doctor of Nursing program at the University of Calgary, where her research centred on relationship-based solutions to the nurse retention crisis.

Dr. Kim Hogarth, Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) for Primary Care Alberta
She provides strategic leadership for nursing, allied health, and health professions within PCA and is Canada’s first CNO with a primary care focus. With over 20 years of experience in healthcare and academic leadership and a clinical background as an LPN, RN, and NP. Kim brings a broad and grounded perspective to her work. She is a strong advocate for nursing and leadership, contributing to conversations that inform policy, workforce planning, and quality patient care.
