Dr. Jaason Geerts, Director of Research and Leadership Development at the Canadian College of Health Leaders wrote an op-ed published in The Globe and Mail titled “How can companies thrive in the new future of work? By understanding that people matter.”

Co-authored with Dr. Verna Yiu (former CEO of Alberta Health Services), the article is based on the results of a nation-wide survey of healthcare CEOs regarding strategies for increasing staff engagement, retention, and finding joy at work. It also introduces Dr. Geerts’s concept of The Great Optimization, which focuses on experimenting with different ways of working to produce the best results.

Our aim is to conduct and publish top quality, international research (normally, collaboratively). Our scope is not limited to the health domain.
