Your Opportunity:
Cancer Care Alberta (CCA) is seeking an exceptional, forward‑thinking, and driven leader to serve as Associate Manager, Radiation Therapy (AMRT). In this crucial role, you will help shape the future of cancer care for patients and staff at the state‑of‑the‑art Arthur J.E. Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre in Calgary. Reporting to the Manager of Radiation Therapy, the AMRT will provide both clinical and operational leadership—advancing timely access to care, strengthening workforce models, and championing innovative service delivery while guiding a progressive multidisciplinary team in alignment with CCA’s strategic direction and our commitment to high‑quality, patient‑ and family‑centred care. You will oversee daily operations, manage human and financial resources and lead contracted service partnerships with a continuous focus on quality, safety, and performance improvement.
The AMRT collaborates closely with Radiation Oncology, Nursing, Medical Physics, Radiation Safety, Research and Clinical Trials to support seamless, integrated care. This is an ideal opportunity for an emerging healthcare leader who is passionate about advancing radiation therapy services, supporting staff development and integrating evidence‑based practices within a dynamic environment.
You will also contribute to and benefit from the evolution of Canada’s newest comprehensive cancer centre, designed to support staff, elevate research, foster innovation, enhance the patient experience and deliver world‑class cancer treatment. Joining our team means stepping into a light‑filled Radiation Therapy department within a modern facility built for the future, offering cutting‑edge technology, expanded capacity and a once‑in‑a‑generation opportunity to influence cancer care for Albertans.
