Angie Hong

Angie Hong is a Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine physician with more than twenty years of experience in primary care. As one of the first family physicians in Ontario to achieve board certification in Obesity Medicine, she helped establish community programs that expanded access to publicly funded, comprehensive obesity care.

Angie brings this same commitment to clarity and capacity building to her work as an executive and personal development coach. She has coached physicians and healthcare leaders across the country and conducts workshops on communication, coaching skills, executive presence, and burnout navigation. Her teaching style is grounded in curiosity, practical insight, and a belief that leadership begins with the way we understand and lead ourselves. In addition to being a Certified LEADS Coach, Angie is a member of the inaugural LEADS Global Facilitation cohort, recognizing the growing global value of the LEADS framework. She integrates this framework with her Leadership Inside Out philosophy to help leaders grow, adapt, and contribute meaningfully within complex healthcare environments.

Across all her work, Angie brings a steady presence, a deep understanding of the realities of healthcare, and a genuine interest in helping leaders realize their strengths and expand what they believe is possible for themselves and their teams.

Off-duty, Angie’s important role is being the mother of three daughters who hold her accountable to her values of integrity and compassion every day.
