The Canadian College of Health Leaders is launching the CHE Accelerated In-Person Pathway, a dynamic new route to achieving the Certified Health Executive (CHE) designation in just eight months. Designed for emerging and mid-career health leaders, this innovative program blends intensive in-person learning with real-world application, peer collaboration, and expert mentorship.
The 2026 cohort of this program will be anchored by two flagship events, the CCHL National Conference in June 2026 and the Canada West Health Leaders Conference in October 2026. The pathway offers a condensed, high-engagement alternative to the traditional CHE program. Participants will complete LEADS-based coursework, develop and present a LEADS in Action Project, and gain exclusive access to senior health leaders and CHE evaluators.
“This pathway is ideal for professionals seeking to fast-track their leadership development while benefiting from face-to-face learning and national networking opportunities,” said Stéphane Joannette, Director of Professional Certifications and Strategic Alliances at CCHL.
Organizations are also encouraged to enroll leadership teams, fostering a shared leadership language and aligning development with strategic priorities. The program supports succession planning, enhances engagement, and delivers a faster return on investment.
The first cohort launches in March 2026, with applications now open. Program fees start at $3,600 for CCHL members and include registration for both conferences, LEADS materials, and mentorship support. Please note: The CHE Accelerated In-Person Pathway is a pilot initiative, and program pricing is subject to change.
