CHE Accelerated In-Person Pathway Continues to Exceed Expectations as Second Cohort Sells Out

The Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL) is thrilled to announce that the second cohort of the CHE Accelerated In-Person Pathway has officially sold out, marking another exciting milestone for one of the College’s newest and most innovative leadership development offerings.

Following the overwhelming success of the inaugural cohort, which also sold out, the rapid enrolment of the second cohort underscores the strong national demand for flexible, high-impact leadership development opportunities designed specifically for today’s health leaders.

Launched earlier this year, the CHE Accelerated In-Person Pathway offers emerging to executive health leaders a dynamic, eight-month route to earning the Certified Health Executive (CHE) designation. Blending immersive in-person learning, real-world application, peer collaboration, and expert mentorship, the program represents a bold evolution in how the College supports leadership growth across Canada.

The second cohort, which will begin this July, will be anchored by two signature CCHL events: the Canada West Health Leaders Conference in Calgary in October 2026 and the National Conference in Niagara Falls in June 2027. Participants will complete LEADS-based coursework, develop and present a LEADS in Action Project, and benefit from exclusive access to senior health leaders, CHE evaluators, and a national network of peers.

Stéphane Joannette, Director, Professional Certifications & Strategic Alliances, celebrated the achievement, noting the significance of the program’s continued momentum: “Selling out two consecutive cohorts is a tremendous achievement and a clear indication that health leaders across Canada are looking for innovative, experiential, and highly practical pathways to leadership certification. We are delighted by the response and excited to welcome another exceptional group of leaders from across the country as they embark on their CHE journey.”

The continued success of the Accelerated In-Person Pathway reflects the College’s commitment to meeting leaders where they are and providing meaningful opportunities to learn, connect, and grow alongside peers from across Canada’s health system.

Health leaders interested in future cohorts are encouraged to join the interest list through the CHE Program section of the CCHL website or contact the College at che@cchl-ccls.ca to receive updates on upcoming offerings.
