College member Amy Porteous appointed CEO of Maxville Manor

The Canadian College of Health Leaders congratulates Amy Porteous on her new role as the Chief Executive Officer of Maxville Manor, a long-term care facility in North Glengarry County, in Eastern Ontario. She previously was the Vice President, Planning & Residential Programs at Bruyère Continuing Care, in Ottawa.

A graduate of the Master of Health Administration at the University of Ottawa, Amy joined the College in 2003. She was the recipient of CCHL’s 2013 Robert Zed Young Health Leader Award, which is presented to a Canadian healthcare leader who has demonstrated leadership in the effectiveness and sustainability of Canada’s health system.
