First Cohort of New CHE Accelerated In‑Person Pathway is Sold Out

February 19, 2026

The Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL) is proud to announce that the inaugural cohort of the new CHE Accelerated In‑Person Pathway has officially sold out. This is an exciting milestone that underscores the strong national demand for innovative, high‑impact leadership development opportunities.

Launched earlier this year, the CHE Accelerated In‑Person Pathway offers emerging to executive health leaders a dynamic, eight‑month route to earning the Certified Health Executive (CHE) designation. Blending immersive in‑person learning, real‑world application, peer collaboration, and expert mentorship, the program represents a bold evolution in how the College supports leadership growth across Canada.

The first cohort, beginning in March 2026, will be anchored by two major CCHL events: the National Conference in June and the Canada West Health Leaders Conference in October. Participants will complete LEADS‑based coursework, develop and present a LEADS in Action Project, and gain exclusive access to senior health leaders and CHE evaluators.

Stéphane Joannette, Director, Professional Certifications & Strategic Alliances, celebrated the achievement, noting the significance of this early momentum: “We are thrilled to welcome [SJ1] a full cohort spanning the continuum of leadership, from aspiring leaders to senior executives, with representation from across the country. The response to this new pathway is a powerful validation of the College’s commitment to meeting leaders where they are and supporting their development in meaningful, innovative ways.”

Those interested in future cohorts are encouraged to join the interest list through the CHE Program section of the CCHL website or contact our team at che@cchl-ccls.ca.
