The Canadian College of Health Leaders is proud to announce that Good Samaritan Society/Good Samaritan Canada was named recipient of the 2023 Excellence in Diversity & Inclusion Award.
The Good Samaritan Society and Good Samaritan Canada (Good Samaritan) are committed to upholding the values of equity, diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism at all levels throughout the organization, as well as in the delivery of our services. They believe that equity, diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism involve creating an organizational culture that wholeheartedly welcomes and fosters the individuality of others and presents all people within the communities that they serve.

They believe that dignity, rights, responsibilities, treatment and opportunities as an individual are not dependent on who you are. Good Samaritan promotes inclusion to ensure that people feel respected and valued for who they are as individuals. They practice anti-racism as the active process of identifying and opposing racism. Anti-racism is rooted in action.

The Excellence in Diversity & Inclusion Award recognizes a forward-thinking healthcare organization that has demonstrated leadership in creating and promoting diversity and inclusion to improve the environment for its employees, and to better service their customers/patients, and the community.
