New Innovation Challenges Available for Improvement Teams Across Canada

May 22, 2019

The Canadian Foundation for Healthcare Improvement and a coalition of leading healthcare organizations are launching two new Innovation Challenges focused on delivering more improvement for more people – and making it last. The Canadian College of Health Leaders is pleased to support these Innovation Challenges.

The Challenges are for teams that want to move the dial on health outcomes, working together to reach more people. Participating teams benefit from program support and other resources, connections with a community of innovators, and the potential to receive awards. Teams can gain profile as they improve access and outcomes.

Priority Health Innovation Challenge: Are you ready to improve access to mental health and addictions services, or home and community care? This Challenge will support teams to move the dial on one of 12 common indicators , joining with others to reach more people over 18 months. Up to $400,000 in awards available.

Momentum Challenge: Are you ready to grow your gains and scale your innovation to reach more people? This Challenge supports teams that have recently completed CFHI programs to achieve long-term success by working together over 12 months to expand their proven innovations. This invitation-only Challenge is open to teams that have participated in the INSPIRED COPD Scale Collaborative, Connected Medicine Collaborative and New Brunswick Appropriate Use of Antipsychotics Collaborative. Up to $200,000 in awards available.

Let’s make change happen!
