This session was presented on January 14, 2026
Holistic health reminds us that well-being is multi-dimensional and includes our physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and relational experiences, as well as the environments with which we work and live. When these elements of well-being are acknowledged, supported, and encouraged in the workplace, people feel heard more connected and grounded, and are able to show up as their best selves. In this presentation, the CIINDE Founder (Sherry) and Co-Founders (Janessa and Kim) will introduce what holistic health truly means and explore how leaders can bring these concepts into daily practice for themselves and their teams. Acknowledging the realities and common challenges that prevent well-being from being prioritized, we will explore practical, compassionate strategies for weaving whole-person care into everyday moments, as well as workplace culture.
Together, we will share meaningful examples and strategies, such as Code Lavender, which help teams manage stressful situations, support one another, and create healthier workplace environments. Alongside team-focused strategies, we will place special emphasis on how leaders can support team well-being by encouraging intentional practices that create safer, healthier, and more humane workplaces. Participants will also receive open-access resources and simple tools that can be used to enhance workplace culture and support overall team wellness. This session is designed for anyone committed to building workplaces where people feel valued, supported, and able to grow and where leadership well-being is recognized as essential to a thriving team.
