This webinar, hosted on April 14, 2026, featured Don, Juzwishin, The Editor-in-Chief of Healthcare Management Forum (HMF), and Dan Gibson, the Vice-President of Business Development and Corporate Affairs for the Canadian College of Health Leaders. They presented the journal’s history, discussed why publishing is still important in today's landscape, and offered more information about HMF sponsorship opportunities designed specifically for corporate members.
Don Juzwishin, PhD, FCCHL, has 40 years of experience in global, national, provincial and local healthcare administration, research, consulting and education. He is Editor-in-Chief of Healthcare Management Forum and currently holds adjunct Associate Professor positions at the Universities of Alberta, Calgary, and Victoria. Don also leads the healthcare and service delivery challenge area for AGE-WELL and is the Chair of the Alberta Genome Canada Research Oversight Committee.
Dan Gibson has worked in global medical device and medtech leadership positions for over 25 years with companies such as Stryker, Philips Healthcare, and Bausch & Lomb. Equally comfortable in the operating theatre and the boardroom, his professional journey has included functional roles in clinical support, key account management, sales team leadership, and business development. Dan has a keen interest in life sciences and healthcare innovation, serving on the Board of Directors for Boundless Accelerator and mentoring undergraduate students at Wilfrid Laurier University’s StartUp Lab.
