Effective leadership is essential for any healthcare organization; to promote a positive culture, enhance the quality of patient care, and ensure the success of the organization. This Leadership Development Impact Assessment (LDI) Toolkit lists four main steps to evaluate a program’s ROI and includes guidelines, tools, and examples of how to use. Complete the needs assessment below to find out if your organization is ready to implement this toolkit.

Laying the Foundation – Determining the levels of program evaluation, and developing or reviewing the program objectives.

Evaluating Impact – Addressing and isolating the tangible and intangible benefits that are directly from the program.

Assessing Outcomes – Determining the types of personal and organizational metrics that need to be measured.

Determining the ROI – Providing the formula to calculate the ROI which is an ultimate measure and a profitability ratio for evaluating the efficiency of a program.

THANK YOU TO OUR OTHER CONTRIBUTORS IN THE CREATION OF THIS TOOLKIT

In 2015, member partners and the CHLNet Research & Evaluation Working Group, established a project to design a leadership development impact assessment toolkit, under the auspices of a ROI steering group. A scoping review guided this evidence informed effort. The LDI toolkit is the result of that work, developed with the help of ROI institute Canada and 12 other partners who contributed in-kind and financial contributions.
