CCHL Chair Feisal Keshavjee, CHE and Vice-Chair Marianne Walker, CHE join CEO Alain Doucet to discuss the College’s 50-year anniversary.

You’ll hear us tout ‘Compassionate Care Close To Home’ often. Formerly known as ‘Leamington District Memorial Hospital - we’re a staple of Essex County with deep roots in the Leamington community for decades. In 2017, the hospital transitioned its name to Erie Shores HealthCare with the intent of the new name better reflecting the geographic areas it serves including the communities of Leamington, Kingsville, Essex, Wheatley, Harrow, Amherstburg, and Belle River.

Erie Shores HealthCare is a dynamic and innovative small community hospital in Leamington, Ontario. Home to 58 inpatient beds and a 24/7 Emergency Department which has seen greater than 10% growth in the past two years, Erie Shores is a vital component of its surrounding communities.

Erie Shores HealthCare improves the Health and well being of the people we serve by leading the development of a sustainable integrated rural health system.

Our strategic goals are to be a Chosen Workplace, Financially Sustainable, Digitally Innovative, a Centre of Patient Care Excellence, and a Connected Care Partner.
