Vancouvers Island Chapter Presents
The Power of Networking

Thursday, January 23rd, 2014
5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. PST
The Learning Centre Room 151, The Patient Care Centre, Royal Jubilee Hospital

The Vancouver Island Chapter invites self-identified emerging health leaders to a speed ‘peer networking’ event. The purpose of this event is to promote and facilitate networking with individuals from various healthcare streams and inspire avenues for career growth and peer to peer learning.

This event will consist of two parts. First, special guest speaker Goldie Luong will discuss her experience with networking, examine questions relating to the ‘what’s’, ‘why’s’, and ‘how’s’ of networking, and provide some practical suggestions as to how emerging health leaders can grow their networks. Following Goldie’s presentation, the theory behind networking will be put into practice with a speed networking activity where attendees will have the opportunity to engage in one on one interaction.

Feedback regarding opportunities for future activities and opportunities will also be solicited.

There is limited space so please register early. Thank you.
