Human Service Integration (HSI) refers to the coordination of the comprehensive range of services for a specific population (e.g. children & youth) from multiple sectors (i.e. health, eduction, community & social services) at multiple levels of the system (i.e. provider, organization, region, ministry). Although provincial and national policies emphasize integration as a means of system transformation, conceptual understanding and measurement of integration remains elusive. Join Valerie as she discusses her doctoral dissertation framework that captures four dimensions of HSI, approaches for analyzing HSI data, and how the framework can provide the foundation of health system transformation.
