This Webinar will provide a short overview of Interprofessional Education (IPE) and its value. The Model developed at Memorial University will be described highlighting  Regional Health Authority (RHA)  involvement. A major focus of the session will be on the accreditation related Regional Team Effectiveness Committee in which Memorial University and Eastern Health have partnered to develop a team effectiveness strategy which is currently being piloted in a small number of teams to determine feasibility. In addition the more broad involvement of RHAs in other IPE initiatives, including rural primary care sites,  will be discussed. This webinar will be of interest to any manager responsible for an interdisciplinary team.
