The AGM will be held from 12-1pm, followed by an education session from 1-2pm. This year, Eastern Health will present the results of their Kaizen event ; this is a LEAN application in the clinical areas to reduce ALC (alternate level of care), improve patient flow and maximize system capacity.
Facilitating a team of frontline staff, Terri Jean, Karen and Stephen used their LEAN expertise to coach the group through a continuous improvement process to improve patient flow and reduce the ALC rate at a tertiary care facility in Newfoundland.
