Southwestern Ontario and Hamilton and Area Chapter Presents
Culture of Innovation Study Tour

October 5, 2015
9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Chatham Kent Health Alliance

On October 5th, 2015, join CCHL’s study tour at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA) where you will experience first hand a culture of innovation within a community hospital and across the local healthcare system. Spanning design, technology and system innovation dimensions, learn how CKHA is the key enabling organization for the thriving innovation ecosystem in the ESC LHIN. The study tour will reflect the powerful transformation of CKHA’s culture through three dimensions, including:  physical space that optimizes the environment for patients and/or providers, the impact of placing tools with real-time data directly in the hands of employees, and, adoption of new clinical practices across organizational barriers through trusting, committed and often integrated partnerships that achieve system outcomes. The tour will end with a panel discussion featuring Gary Switzer, CEO of the ESC LHIN regarding system/funding, and our academic and industry partners who will share their insights and experiences in working with CKHA teams and within its culture of innovation.

We will wrap up the day at the Retro Suites Hotel with a Cocktail Reception and Networking Session.
