10:00 AM Keynote Speaker:

Dr. Matthew Gilmour
, Scientific Director General, National Microbiology Laboratory.
Presentation: Managing a Team Through Critical Decisions.

As Canada's leading public health infectious disease laboratory, the NML is responsible for the identification, control and prevention of infectious diseases. Dr. Gilmour will speak to making the decision to activate the Emergency Operations Control team at the height of the Zika virus outbreak and managing a team through an evolving situation.

As the past President and COO of the Victoria General Hospital and current CEO of the CCHL, Ray will speak to the most important lessons he has learned in leadership and how the CCHL is empowering leadership across the country.
