On August 1, 2016, six different Health and Social Service Authorities became one in NTHSSA for the Northwest Territories. Kevin Taylor, The Director of Operations for the New Territorial Authority will present and discuss the object of the systems integration as well as the process that is being undertaken to migrate and transform the NMT system. Colin Goodfellow, COO of Stanton Hospital, will also be on hand to share and discuss his experience leading one of the now defunct authorities during this period of change. This promises to be a stimulating and candid conversation about the challenge of changing a system while it’s in operation and the unique issues of remote populations.
