Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action.  What is Your Personal Leadership Commitment?   

Health Equity & Cultural Safety: An Integrated Approach to Better Health for All. This session will explore how health equity – and within it, cultural safety – is a key dimension of quality in healthcare. Participants will discuss how disparities in health outcomes and care experiences can be better understood, and how this can inform health system design, leadership, and direct practice.

Featured Speaker:
Erin Beckwell, BSW MSW RSW (SK), Policy Analyst/ Knowledge Translation Specialist

Erin Beckwell will explore how health equity- and within it cultural safety- is a key dimension of quality in health care.  Participants will discuss how disparities in health outcomes and care experiences can be better understood and how this can inform health system design, leadership, and direct practice.
 
Erin currently works as a Knowledge Translation Specialist & Policy Analyst with the Public Health Observatory in SHR.  Trained as a Social Worker, Erin bring a passion for health system transformation.
