Ms. Beth Vachon, Transition Team Lead

As the CEO of Cypress Health Region, Beth Vachon brings strength of leadership and vision to the role of Transition Team Lead for the provincial restructuring and transformation of Saskatchewan's health system.

Mr. Mike Northcott, Director of Human Resources Saskatoon Health Region

Mr. Northcott brings a wealth of knowledge into his portfolio as lead of Human Resources, Labour Relations, and Change Leadership work stream for transitioning and restructuring.

Mr. Mike Higgins, CEO of SAHO

Mike Higgins, currently seconded from RQHR as CEO of SAHO Inc.,  is a longstanding Canadian healthcare executive with a wealth of operational and provincial leadership experience. Prior to joining RQHR in 2008 as VP People and Safety, he served as President and CEO of the Health Boards of Alberta from 1995. Previously, he was Senior Vice President of the Alberta Healthcare Association, and President and CEO of St. Vincent's Hospital in British Columbia. Mike has been a member of the Canadian College of Health Leaders since the 1980s and has served on a number of boards including the Canadian Hospital Association and the Canadian College of Health Service Executives. Mike brings extensive experience that will enable SAHO to continue to provide leadership in the areas of collective bargaining, labour relations, job evaluation and compensation.  His knowledge of Saskatchewan's health care system and commitment to strong, collaborative relationships support our goal of working together to deliver high quality, patient-centered care to Saskatchewan residents.
