The Health City Initiative was announced by Mayor Don Iveson in the spring of 2016 in order to drive future health innovation and business development and provide additional supports to an already robust health ecosystem in Edmonton. Supported by major stakeholders, including industry, investors, community leaders, post-secondary institutions and government, this initiative strives to advance the fertile ground needed to accelerate growth in this key economic sector.

Join Dr. Jodi L. Abbott, Chair of Health City, as she delivers an update on the work that has been done to advance the Health City Initiative. Dr. Abbott will be joined by a panel of local health innovators who will discuss their key accomplishments and plans for future growth here in Edmonton.
