Our health systems are at a critical moment.  There is widespread recognition at all levels, including the public we serve, on the importance and urgency of modernizing our health systems.  Despite that knowledge, we are not agile in executing significant change and although we do have innovative organizations that excel at change, they are often isolated in practice.  As leaders, are we enablers or are we impeded by our mental models and knowledge of working in a stalemated system?
