The GTA Chapter of the Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL) is excited to present the third installment of its leadership development series, in partnership with University Health Network (UHN). Please join us on Thursday November 23, 2017 to hear Emma Pavlov, Executive Vice President for Human Resources, Organizational Development and Michener Operations at UHN, share her leadership journey and experience. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to learn about Emma Pavlov’s journey to become senior executive, and hear her insights on the future of health care.

Over 2017-18, leaders from UHN will share stories about their professional journey, speaking candidly about their careers, while imparting advice for current and future leaders. Speakers will also provide their thoughts and insights on the future of health care both at UHN and across the system. Following the presentations, guests will have an opportunity to engage with speakers in a Q and A session.

Emma Pavlov’s Biography:

Emma Pavlov is Executive Vice President, responsible for Human Resources, Organizational Development and Michener Operations at University Health Network.  As Chief People Officer, Emma’s responsibilities include all aspects of strategic human resource management, organizational development, labour relations and culture.  Emma also oversees operations at the Michener Institute of Education at UHN.

Emma holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and sociology and an MBA from Royal Roads University.  She teaches at the Schulich School of Business at York University and is the Program Director for a Masters Certificate in Healthcare Management at the Schulich Executive Education Centre.

Emma’s focus is on building the culture and work environment that inspires people and enables them to contribute their personal best to achieving UHN’s strategy.

Attendance at this program entitles certified Canadian College of Health Leaders members (CHE / Fellow) to 1.50 Category I credits toward their maintenance of certification requirement.
