Our Neon Lights Annual General Meeting’s purpose is twofold:
1. To present our chapter’s annual report
2. As health leaders, we all share the priority of putting patients and families at the centre of care experiences.
You will hear from a variety of organizations’ experience involving patients and families in improving patient experience through active engagement and voice.

Marie Murphy Foran, Elliot Lake
Marie is the co chair of the First Patient Family Advisory Committee for the North East LHIN.
Marie brings considerable past experience from working in the community care field. She is a founding member of the Palliative Care and Age Friendly committees in Elliot Lake, as well as current chair of Elliot Lake Economic Development Advisory Committee.She has a passion for innovation and believes that there is much work to be done in the area of elder care.
Paul is North Bay Regional Health Centre's CEO.
Prior to this, he was President and CEO at Georgian Bay General Hospital. He was formerly Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer at the University of Calgary, Faculty of Medicine while also serving as Advisor to the Chief Clinical Officer of the Calgary Health Region. He has held management positions at the Inuvik Regional Health and Social Services Board, the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Huntsville Hospital and, Muskoka-East Parry Sound Community Care Access Centre. He has served as a board director for the Canadian College of Health Leaders Board, the Board of MedBuy and several other shared service organizations.
