Northern Alberta Chapter Guest Speaker: Doctors Against Tragedies ![]() A serious game for saving lives. Inspired by Cards Against Humanity, this interactive and socially innovative card game is designed to save lives. Unlike most social awareness campaigns, Doctors Against Tragedies is fun and educational. We are not here to scare you. We just want you to know the facts. Dr. Ferrante Gragasin is an anesthesiologist in Edmonton. His current clinical practice is based out of the Royal Alexandra Hospital and the University of Alberta Hospital, and he is currently appointed as a Clinical Professor. Following his medical school and residency training in anesthesiology, he completed a PhD in physiology in order to combine his interest in research with his clinical practice. He currently has laboratory space in the Katz Group Centre at the University of Alberta, where he investigates vascular physiology as it pertains to health and disease. He interacts with many learners, including those in the University undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels. Dr. Gragasin is married and has 2 boys, aged 10 and 7. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies, playing video games, swimming, and enjoying outdoor activities.
