A New Model for Mobile Mental Health Crisis Response at Eastern Health

In response to a growing need for mental health crisis support, the Eastern Health Mental Health and Addictions team partnered with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary to form a new team to deliver mobile mental health supports to those in crisis in the community. In this presentation, Maureen Moores, Program Manager with Eastern Health’s Mental Health and Addictions Program and Jennifer Marshall, social worker with the Mental Health and Addictions Program will provide an overview of the program, how the team came together to deliver the supports and how partnerships were developed that strengthened the delivery of mental health crisis support to those in need in the Eastern Health Regional health Authority in NL.
