Prototyping Health Innovations: Using the Business Model Canvas

March 26, 2019
5:30 pm to 8:30 pm MST
Alberta Public Laboratories 9 (Room C244)
3535 Research Road NW

Do business plans and briefing notes get in the way of health innovations? Do good ideas die too soon because you place too many bureaucratic hurdles on the path to meaningful change?

You are not alone! Innovators struggle to get traction for their ideas in every type of organization from startup to multi-national and from non-profit to the world’s largest government organizations.

The Business Model Canvas (BMC) has emerged as one of the primary tools in the Lean Startup Movement to take the waste out of the innovation process. The BMC has been used millions of times to help businesses discover how to create, deliver and capture value. In 2016, the creators of the BMC adapted the BMC for use in mission driven organizations (versus for profit) and called it the Mission Model Canvas (MMC).

Join us for an interactive session on Prototyping Health Innovations using the Mission Model Canvas.
