Calling all Eastern Ontario Chapter CCHL members looking to ‘dine with a difference maker’!!!

In support of the Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL) #CCHLDifferenceMaker campaign, the Eastern Ontario Chapter is very excited to be offering a unique opportunity for a select group of members of our Chapter to dine with a local difference maker. We will be raffling off three seats to attend our exclusive dinner on May 21st at 6:00 p.m with Vickie Kaminski a Senior Health Care Executive.

Vickie Kaminski

Vickie is a senior health care executive with more than 37 years of experience in the Canadian health care system. Her professional background is in nursing.

Vickie’s most recent role was Chief Executive of SA Health. In that role Vickie served as the Deputy Minister of Health in the State of South Australia. During her tenure the new Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH) was opened and operationalized. The almost $3 Billion dollar facility was heralded as the most modern and technologically advanced facility in the Southern Hemisphere at that time.

Prior to that appointment Vickie served as President and CEO of the Alberta Health Service, an integrated health service, with 100,000 employees.

Prior to joining the AHS, Vickie was with the Eastern Regional Health Authority for approximately five years as President and Chief Executive Officer. In this broad health portfolio, Vickie was responsible for the healthcare continuum including a range of unique provincial programs.

In these previous roles Vickie was responsible for initiating system change through benchmarking, achieving efficiencies and realising benefits for the health system.

Vickie is currently the President of VK Health Systems Consulting. In that consulting capacity Vickie has served as the Acting President and CEO of the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital, a contract which she started in November of 2018 and will complete at the beginning of May, 2019.
