Executive Director

Lead the delivery of client care and support services for transitionally aged youth and adults with complex special needs.

Community Resources and Support Services Ltd. (CRSS) is a community services organization based in Oshawa, dedicated to providing services to transitionally aged youth and adults with complex needs. The company has been in operation for twelve years and has eleven residential programs as well as an adult skills centre.

CRSS is looking for a leader with passion for meeting the needs of transitionally aged youth and adults with complex needs with considerable experience related to residential care, child welfare, the justice system, and the delivery of individualized programs and services for clients with complex needs. The Executive Director will work closely with the CEO to lead a formidable team of managers and professional staff to deliver service excellence across all programs and meet the needs of an increasingly diverse and changing population.

The Executive Director should have a long-tenured track record of leadership in community services, developmental services, children and youth services, mental health and addictions, and/or social services, and a proven ability to develop programs, recommend behavioral care plans, as well as experience obtaining funding for services provided by private or non-profit organizations. As a visionary and inspirational leader with excellent interpersonal and communications skills, the Executive Director will promote a culture of collaboration, excellence and continuous improvement. The Executive Director will support the future growth of the company as it looks to secure its position as a market leader in the provision of programs and services for transitionally aged youth and adults with complex needs across Ontario.
