Rodolfo Pike
Rodolfo Pike is an accomplished Acute Care Nurse Practitioner specializing in heart failure care. With a strong dedication to improving the lives of heart failure patients, Rodolfo has made significant contributions to the field through his clinical expertise and leadership roles. At a recent National Heart Failure Conference in Montreal, Rodolfo was awarded the inaugural Malcolm Arnold Award for Mentorship and Service in heart failure. The award was developed to support a practicing health care provider in a Canadian health care system. Currently, Rodolfo serves as a vital member of the Heart Failure Clinic, where he provides expert care and treatment to patients with heart failure. His comprehensive knowledge and compassionate approach have earned him the respect and admiration of both colleagues and patients. In recognition of his expertise, Rodolfo had been appointed to the Executive of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Heart Failure Society, a prestigious position where he actively contributes to the advancement of heart failure through research, education, and advocacy. He has also been asked to serve as a secondary panelist for the Canadian Heart Failure Guidelines. On a regional level he co-chairs the Atlantic Heart failure table of champions and is co-chair of the NL Provincial heart failure operation team.
Rodolfo’s commitment to improving heart failure care extends beyond national boundaries. He was actively involved in the development and implementation of the National Heart Failure Action Plan with the Heart and Stroke foundation, aiming to enhance heart failure management and outcomes on a broader scale. He often presents at local, National and International heart failure conference. He is also currently organizing and developing the first ever international Heart Failure Nursing group with a vision to enhance heart failure care on a Global level.
