Sean Chilton, Vice President of People, Health Professions and Information Technology with Alberta Health Services
Sean is a visionary leader who has created sustainable, positive working relationships with diverse stakeholders inside and outside the health sector, and is a well-respected leader in AHS. Sean started his health care career as a registered nurse, graduating from the Royal Oldham School of Nursing in Oldham, England. He has worked in health care for more 35 years and held leadership roles with increasing responsibilities for 25 years including as a non-physician in the VP Medicine role, Quality, Safety and various other operational areas. Sean has moved across the province, living in several Alberta communities including Grande Prairie, Lethbridge and currently Edmonton.
Madison Fullerton, Vice President at 19 - Zero & Associate Co-Chair of Emerging Health Leaders Canada
Madi Fullerton completed her Master of Science in Health and Exercise Physiology from the University of Calgary. During her MSc she also became a CSEP Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist. Madi is currently a Vice President at 19 to Zero which is a Canada-wide public health organization working to shift Canadians’ attitudes and behaviours on several public health topics such as routine immunizations, cancer screening, etc. She works casually at the Canadian Sport Institute of Calgary and is the Associate Co-Chair of Emerging Health Leaders Calgary
Jocelyn Rempel, Chair in Older Adult Health and Associate Professor at Mount Royal University
Jocelyn's experience as a gerontological nurse has spanned across the care continuum from homecare to long-term care. She is currently forging the way for innovation and technology in the aging space through her research and work with AgeTech and IoT companies. She is also passionate about leaving a social impact and has initiated several age-inclusive and intergenerational programs at the University. She has a strong desire to promote healthy aging and improve the care conditions for older adults and has recently been involved in a Workforce Think Tank with the Alberta Association of Gerontology. She serves as a Board Member for Silvera for Seniors, and is involved in the development of their innovation and service impact strategy. Her consulting involves providing strategic direction for AgeTech and IoT companies as they enter into the continuing care sector.
Jackie Ross, Executive Director of Human Resources at STARS
Jackie Ross is the Executive Director of Human Resources at STARS, where she has worked for the last seven years. Prior to joining this not-for-profit organization, Jackie worked in the Oil and Gas industry at TransCanada, Talisman Energy and Newalta. She has held roles in recruiting, talent management and business partnering and has had the opportunity to complete two expat assignments to learn about HR in Norway and the United States. Jackie is a born and raised Calgarian and enjoys all things pop culture – movies, music, books and trivia.
