The climate crisis is a public health and equity crisis, as it impacts those who experience the highest levels of vulnerability. Although climate change carries the most complex challenges of our time, it also pushes us to think about solutions that can support life on Planet Earth as we look to the future. This virtual presentation will underline the various ways in which climate change-related events and emergencies affect individual and community health. Additionally, it will provide an overview of some of the implications for healthcare system responses to addressing environmental sustainability in practice and delivery of patient care. Come join and engage in an important conversation for all leaders in healthcare today.
