Your role and responsibilities:

  • Establish partnerships and structures for effective knowledge exchange between operational and strategic leaders, aligning with C.A.R.E. Network mandates. Develop and evaluate frameworks biannually, standardizing processes to maximize efficiency and decision-making. Lead practice network initiatives and ensure sustainability plans achieve intended outcomes with ongoing support and reporting.
  • Participate in Regional and Local Clinical Governance Committees by developing agendas, facilitating status reports, and supporting priority recommendations. Manage risk registries, lead the Program’s Island Health Plan and Accreditation Work Plan, and report on progress.
  • Collaborate with operations and advisors to standardize care and work processes, including Clinical Standards, enhancing safety and quality. Navigate standards through governance processes, liaising with clinical governance structures and councils, alongside designated standards leads.
  • Identify and communicate significant risks to client welfare or the organization to the Director or designate.
  • Provide education and expert support to Program staff on designing, implementing, and evaluating quality initiatives.

What you need to apply:

  • A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Master’s Degree in a related health
  • Seven (7) years related experience including two (2) years’ experience in quality improvement and evaluation, and three (3) years in clinical service delivery.
  • Valid BC Driver’s License.
