Director of Resident Care


Mount St. Mary Hospital is a Catholic health care facility providing a home life model of care for residents in 200 complex care beds in downtown Victoria.

The Director is a role model for our mission and values and promotes a shared governance approach to decision making.  As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Director contributes to the overall management of the organization.  The Director manages the resources and programs in Resident Care Services consistent with quality improvement and risk management principles, statutory requirements, professional standards of practice, and Catholic health ethics. 

We are seeking a leader for the Resident Care Team, with a Bachelors degree in Nursing, supplemented by Masters level training preferred. 7-10 years of experience in geriatrics, rehabilitation, palliative care, or related services; and demonstrated leadership experience in progressively responsible roles.  The Director will bring excellent verbal and written communication and team building skills.
