Based in Brockville, Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Addictions and Mental Health (LLGAMH) is a leading mental health agency that offers a wide variety of high-quality services and unique community programs for individuals in need. Funded primarily by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, LLGAMH serves diverse communities in across a mix of rural and urban settings across Lanark, Leeds and Grenville and works with numerous partners within the region in the delivery of innovative models of care.  Today, the agency has become a recognized leader in mental health and addictions care and employs a core staff of 120 unionized employees to deliver its various community programs with an operating budget of $12.5 million. Currently under Provincial Supervision, LLGAMH is now looking for a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to continue to stabilize and modernize the organization, and build visibility and impact to ensure it is well positioned to support the communities it serves.

The next CEO will work with a newly-constituted Board of Directors to develop a vision for a forward-looking provider of key mental health and addictions services.  He or she will elevate the level of staff engagement building an vibrant organizational culture in alignment with the organizations values of (ICARE)  He or she will collaborate with the new board in providing effective and credible leadership through successful stewardship of all the organization’s activities while navigating the ever-complex nature of addiction and mental health care within the province. Working with the senior leadership team and stakeholders, the CEO will prioritize effective relationships and partnerships, community initiatives, and innovative leadership in ensuring a strategic direction and an operational structure that reflects the vision, mission, and values of the organization. 

As the ideal candidate, you have extensive experience leading within a community services organization, working in a mix of rural and urban communities, collaborating with a Board of Directors, and working with government funders. You are a seasoned strategic thinker that can solidify and position the organization for continued success and transformation in todays evolving health system. Passionate, collaborative, and a visionary, you have a proven track record in developing exceptionally strong mutually beneficial relationships and partnerships that further the delivery of effective care across the region. You are known for building strong cohesive teams, engaging clients  and working effectively with others to ensure outstanding delivery of programs and services. You bring a forward-looking approach to the delivery of programs and services, and have demonstrated the ability to effect change while ensuring buy-in from those around you. You can live the LLGAMH values of integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and equality, and possess a strong sense of ethics in all decisions and actions.
