Susan Walsh, President and CEO Northumberland Hills Hospital

Susan Walsh is currently President and CEO at Northumberland Hills Hospital, a position held since August 2021. Prior to this Ms. Walsh was the Vice President, Patient Services, Chief Nurse Executive, and Chief Clinical Information Officer at Northumberland Hills Hospital. Susan is also the current Co-Chair of the Ontario Health Team Northumberland.

Ms. Walsh is a senior healthcare leader committed to quality patient and family-centred care and organizational excellence. Ms. Walsh’s experience includes an acute academic hospital, a national community care organization and a leading social sector agency. Ms. Walsh brings a broad and unique combination of community and hospital expertise. A former Chief Operations Officer with the Geneva Centre for Autism in Toronto and Vice President, Operations Innovation at Saint Elizabeth, Ms. Walsh began her career as a Registered Nurse and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from McMaster University, a Master of Science from University of Toronto, and a Master of Business Administration from Rotman School of Management University of Toronto. A surveyor with Accreditation Canada since 2008, Susan is well versed in the principles and practices of continuous quality improvement and brings a passion for and knowledge in digital clinical information transformation.
