In this webinar, the presenter will describe his experience of organizational culture change while drawing parallels with the current healthcare crisis in several countries around the world, including Canada and Quebec. He will suggest that a cultural change is necessary as one of the ways to address these challenges. From better control of demand (versus supply), to partnering with our patients, to optimizing the employment of all members of the healthcare team, to the issue of burnout as a systemic scourge rather than an individual responsibility; all examples of cultural changes that are becoming imperative in the current context. Different solutions will be proposed, including intrapreneurship and its transformational potential in healthcare management by bringing a more proactive and innovative approach to the challenges of the sector. He will propose that it is by encouraging individual initiative, supporting creativity and fostering a culture of change that a leader can not only improve the performance of his organization, but also offer a stimulating work environment that provides new opportunities for his team.
