Forum on Healthcare Infrastructure, Atlantic Canada

July 14–15, 2025
Halifax Convention Centre, Halifax, NS

The economic uncertainty, labour shortages, supply chain disruptions, and an overstretched construction market are making the ambitious push to accelerate healthcare facility delivery in the Maritimes increasingly challenging.

To address these challenges, leaders in capital planning, construction, design, and clinical operations will gather this summer in Halifax for two full days of in-depth discussions on how to streamline capital project planning, enhance design and delivery, and meet critical timelines and budgets.

Key topics include:

Trade War Strategy Session: Pooling insights on how tariffs are impacting healthcare infrastructure projects and how put a response plan in place

Special Focus on Facility Design for Mental Health and Addiction: A showcase of projects that took an inclusive, creative approach to spaces for specific populations

Unlocking the Potential of AI: How to realize the benefits of artificial intelligence and other digital tools across the lifecycle of a healthcare infrastructure project

Access by 2030: Creating a more accessible healthcare experience through compliance with new standards for the built environment

Seize the opportunity to examine national and regional trends, with a special focus on significant developments in Nova Scotia, PEI, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
